Fight for your rights

Thursday, June 30th, 2005

After years and years asking for it, Spain is the 4th country to legalize the wedding between homosexuals. So I want to congratulate all my friends that wanted to get married and couldn’t (and the rest of homosexuals too). From now on, they have the same rights as the rest of the society.

Congratulations!

Green Day Concert

Tuesday, June 28th, 2005

Billy - Green DayAfter 5 years without playing in Spain, Green Day gave on Monday the first concert in out country. It was in Badalona, inside the Olimpic Arena. I don’t know how many people were there officially, but I think it could be between 8.000 and 10.000 people jumping and singing all and each song they played during the 2 hour concert.
Almost all their hits were listened in the concert, from “American Idiot” to “She”, and ending the concert with “We are the Champions” of Queen.
It was a long time without going to big concerts, but I think I will start again going to them.
As Billy said: “You’re f**king great.”

You can find more information in the official web site here.

From -4m to 4000m in 7 days

Tuesday, June 21st, 2005

It seems to be impossible, but in 7 days I’ve gone from -4m to 4000m high.
How? It’s easy but not cheap.
Two weekends ago (Saturday the 11th) I was in Sant Feliu de Guixols, in the Costa Brava, practicing the Scuba Dive. It was my first time, so we made the baptism (they call like this…). We dive until 4 meters under the water (it’s the normal in the first dive). It was a really excitig experience. You can see the pics here.

And then, on Saturday the 18th, I was in Empuriabrava (in the Costa Brava too) to jump from a plane at 4000 meters high with a parachutes. I must say that this is the BEST experience ever. You jump together with an istructor, who is attached to you during all the jump. You jump at 4000m, and fall down at 200km/h during 50 seconds and then the instructor opens the parachutes (at 1500m aprox) and you start a 4-5 minutes flying, enjoying the jump, with a great sensation of peace and calm. You must try it. You can find the pics here and more information about SkyDive EmpuriaBrava here.
